HOME LIFE: Izzie was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and live there until moving to Fort Worth, Texas, in 2010. She is the second of four children and oldest of three daughters. She married Hunter Belnap in 2018. She is currently in her first year of nursing school at Bridgerland in Logan, Utah. She has worked for Catalyst RTC and Cache Valley Assisted Living.
EDUCATION: After graduating from North Crowley High School (Fort Worth, Texas) in 2016, she continued her education at Utah Valley University for two years before transferring to Utah State University for her final two years where she graduated from in 2020 with a degree in exercise science.
VOLLEYBALL CAREER: Izzie was a four-year starter at North Crowley HS where she was named the district utility player of the year in 2014 and 2015. They went 14-0 in winning the district title in 2014. She was also academic all-district all four years. She recorded 1,169 kills for the Panthers. She played club volleyball at Texas Advantage Volleyball (TAV) when her TAV 15 Blue team placed third at Nationals in Minneapolis. She played two seasons at Utah Valley University where she was named the the WAC All-Freshman team before transferring to Utah State University to play her final two years. She was academic All-WAC for two years and academic All-MWC for two years.
COACHING CAREER: This is Izzie's first year of coaching with Mtn Peak Volleyball.
WHY I COACH: “Volleyball gave more to me than I ever gave it, and I want to pass that along to my players. All my coaches helped me become a better player while teaching me the life skills to become a strong, independent and confident woman.”
