HOME LIFE: Taleena grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Utah where she played volleyball from a very young age. Taleena met her husband while attending Southern Utah University. She has a daughter that is four and another on the way.

EDUCATION: Taleena went to high school at North Sanpete and then went on to college at Southern Utah University. There she received her degree in elementary education.

​

VOLLEYBALL CAREER: Taleena played for North Sanpete High School where she helped her team win a state championship playing as a defensive specialist.

​

COACHING CAREER: Throughout Taleena's volleyball career, she has coached many clinics and skills camps which led to her love of coaching volleyball. This will be her second season coaching club for Mountain Peak.

​

WHY I COACH: "I coach because I love seeing the growth and unity that is established between the players, parents and coaches. I love to teach and help others reach their goals. I decided on an elementary education degree because of my desire to teach and help. I hope to be able to teach and coach for as long as I can."

VOLLEYBALL IDOL: Kerri Walsh Jennings, because of her motivation and love of volleyball.
